Originally a highball was simply Scotch whisky, and soda water, in a glass with ice. Over time it has come to include any drink which is made from a spirit, and a carbonated beverage. It represents one of the simplest and most straightforward drinks around.
Base Recipe

- 4 ounces soda (or other mixer)
