So, from time to time, a customer will say to me, 'Today is Inter/National X drink/spirit day, make me one of those!'.
For instance, July 24th apparently is National Tequila Day. Febuary 18th is Drink Wine Day, while February 20th is National Margarita Day and well, you get the idea.
I've dug around the web, but can find no singular list. Anyone know where to find it?
Thanks in advance.

You mean something like this? I built this up out of several different "national holiday" lists, sometimes there were conflicts or overlaps of dates and such, so I tried to pick the ones which were most commonly reported as being "the" day. And I also included some dates not specifically associated with drinking, but which had a relation none-the-less.
Now maybe you won't be caught without any creme de cacao on National Brandy Alexander Day! :->

Wow! And...you just knocked that together in a couple of minutes!?
Thanks a lot. Now, you just have to get one of the iPhone drink apps to put this in their program so as to let us know what's happening on any given day. I mean, October 20th? National Brandied Fruit Day? I may need a reminder about that one.
Thanks a lot, Robert.
Great info Robert!
I think we really have to come up with some more “national reasons” to drink in November.
What do you think?
It is SOOOO nice to have something to drink for!
Great stuff!

Seriously, poor november only gets Harvey Wallbanger day. I'm giggling as I type.
That first list was just a quick "search & copy" across a few different sites. I'm currently diving into this and trying to fine tune and expand it. I've already found a few dates which appear to be wrong (different sites say different things), as well as trying to find out some details as to "why" a particular date has been chosen.
The end result will be posted as an online "virtual exhibit" for The Museum of the American Cocktail.
So far, I have found a couple more points of interest for November. but not many :->... It apparently is "National Pomegranate Month" and November 24th is "National Espresso Day". It was interesting to note that Coffee appears to be celebrated quite regularly throughout the year, so far I've uncovered the following:
Coffee Days:
May 6 = National Coffee Day
May 24 = National Coffee Day in Brazil
July 22 = Coffee Week
July 24 = Coffee Day
August = National Coffee Month
September 12 = National Coffee Day in Costa Rica
September 19 = National Coffee Day in Ireland
September 29 = National Coffee Day
October 1 = National Coffee Day in Japan
November 24 = National Espresso Day
December 26 = Coffee Percolator Day
Oooooo! Feb. 10th. Listen to the song here http://www.last.fm/music/The+Andrews+Sisters/_/Rum+and+Coca-Cola

In celebration of Dean Martin's birthday, I'm currently enjoying a Flame of Love Martini, created for Dino by Chasen's bartender Pepe Ruiz, and singing along to Ain't That a Kick in the Head.
2 oz vodka1/4 oz or so Fino Sherry (I used some of my remaining Cocchi Aperitivo Americano, because it goes so well with orange2-3 large slices orange peelPour the sherry into a chilled cocktail glass, swirl to coat, and discard the excess. Spritz the glass with a flamed orange peel (you may need to do this more than once to thoroughly coat the glass). Stir the vodka with ice to chill, pour into the glass, and spritz once again with another flamed orange zest. I don't know if Pepe added a garnish, but I like a final twist of fresh orange.
I can't wait for National Martini Day on Friday!
Hi Robert,
I stumbled upon the Chanticleer Society in search of National Anisette Day and couldn't help adding my two cents:) I found your lists of Drinking Days quite interesting and thought perhaps, I could offer a helping hand.
I have a blog titled Months of Edible Celebrations where I regularly post national days/international days of food and drink celebrations. I know how time consuming it can sometimes be to compile an accurate list of such days. If you are interested in a month by month list of "drinking" days I have posted already, just let me know and I will gladly send you the links.
Please understand, this is not a "plug" for promoting my blog. I just thought you might be able to use the information for your list. Some of the days I have posted are, Prohibition, Gin & Vernor's Ginger Ale, Drinking Straw Day, Irish Coffee Day, Toothpick Day, Dyngus Day, Harry's Bar's Anniversary, and a few more. I usually include a resource list, researched information, and verification of the day. Hope this helps, Louise
P.S. FYI: July is American Beer Month!!! (link below is an article not my site)

If you like, I can also include days I have not posted about yet for you to look into. For instance, I noticed others wanted more days to celebrate in November. According to my notes:
8-November 8, 1789 - Elijah Craig, of Bourbon, KY, aged corn whiskey in new charred oak barrels, turning moonshine into Bourbon whiskey. (one site says 9th)
