Hello,
As many of my fellow members probably have, I found the Chanticleer Society via www.Drinkboy.com and The Smallscreen Network. My interest in cocktails and mixology had skyrocketed since I traveled to Scotland a few years ago and, using these fine resources, I have been able to explore this area of personal interest and learn much.
Having passively leeched off of the wealth of knowledge and ideas of the community at large, I decided to up the ante and step out of shadowy anonymity to say hello and thank everyone for letting me join up.
A little bit about myself: I earned a B.A. in Historic Preservation from The University of Mary Washington and have been doing freelance Preservation consulting (CADD work, networking, historic reserach etc...) until very recently. I live in Maryland. I enjoy creating music, screwing around with Linux and making my computers crash (sorry Robert ), and making a fine cocktail when the urge strikes.
