My names Robbie and i've been interested in cocktails and their history for about 4 years now.I first got involved with cocktails through my love of Tiki culture.I like to think of myself as a connoisseur,although most bartenders who serve me regularly might have another word for it.Greg Sanderson who is a member of this site,served me plenty of times before he changed bars.
I have never worked behind the bar before and dont plan to.I'm quite happy mixing my own drinks at home or going out and having someone else do it for me.
My favourite spirits are rum and gin (i rarely drink beer and dont like wine) ,and i do enjoy Chartreuse on ice with fresh lime.
My favourite drinks,in no partcular order,are;
Mai Tai,Zombie,Sazerac,Gimlet,rum old-fashioneds,Monkey Gland,Corpse Reviver...............heck,i'll drink just about anything.Except Martinis.I think they're a waste of good gin.(I'm sure i've just pissed off a lot of people saying that)
